Italian house: eco-friendly and non-volatile

1

The area of this house is only 63 sq. m.It was designed by the Italian architect Daniele Menichini. He skillfully synthesized eco-style and minimalism, steel and wood, lightness and texture. The house called Green Zero is located in the Italian town of Treviso. Its author is renowned architect and designer Daniele Menichini. The project of the house is made in the spirit of modern architectural minimalism. It attracts with its practicality, functionality and simplicity. This option made it possible to solve the key eco-idea - merging with nature. Due to the correct geometric shapes, it is good to solve different engineering ideas. In this case, with the help of the original layout, it was possible to fit the tree into the interior of the house. And this is just one of the techniques used by Daniele Menichini.

Feature of modern minimalism

Modern minimalism presupposes not onlythe use of simple geometric shapes, special attention in this style is paid to the quality of materials. Ecotema is a fashionable trend, therefore, most often in the design of modern interiors, materials such as wood, stone, concrete are used in combination with steel structures. Pay attention to the terrace. It is used as a resting place and is open from all sides. The minimum set of furniture makes it possible to comfortably observe the local beauties. Metal pipes form an interesting architectural object. They not only serve as a decorative function, but also serve as a support for a part of the roof.

More natural light

Modern minimalism is different from itsanalogue, which was popular in the 60s, in that instead of artificial light sources in the interior they try to use more natural light. In this house, floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows have become a great alternative to traditional light sources. So we managed to fill the house with light, air, lightness, and harmoniously fit it into the exterior.

Tree in the middle of the house

Often when erecting houses (even in eco-style)suffer trees that grow on the site of the future structure. Daniele Menicini solved this problem and made the tree part of the house! It continues to grow, becoming the living center of Green Zero.

Without unnecessary details

Minimalism is notable for the fact that it does not requireunnecessary decor details and pieces of furniture. This interior is a vivid confirmation of this. Here the emphasis is on comfort and convenience. The furniture has simple geometric shapes, but not without originality. The focus is on a bed with orthopedic mattresses and tilt angle adjustment. Next to it is a pouf and an armchair, the shape of which echoes the general concept of the geometry of the house. The table and hanging shelf have the same texture as the floor. All items complement each other, which makes the interior even more harmonious.

Natural shades and combination of textures

Thanks to the color scheme, the interior of the house does not seemboring, but at the same time, it is laconic and has a calming effect. This effect is achieved through the use of natural shades. I would like to note the original wall decoration, near which there is a bed. The result is a unique symbiosis of color and texture: the beauty of natural wood comes to the fore, and the blue-green background, despite its brightness, does not draw attention to itself.

Autonomy

Thanks to the solar panels that are installedon the roof, the house is supplied with heat and electricity. So it became not only "environmentally friendly", but also energy efficient. The author of the project managed to create a comfortable place to live and harmoniously fit it into the local landscape. Reuniting with nature became dominant in this project, and the minimalism style only contributed to this.

On a note!

  • In the minimalist style it is appropriate to use modular furniture-transformer, when one object carries several functions. This allows you not to overload the space.
  • Minimalism is also suitable for small spaces, but in this case you will have to learn to avoid the abundance of small details.
  • Actively use only 2 colors, the third can be contrast, serve as an accent.
