Small apartments

Design project of a small apartment from Ateliers L. McComber

Relatively small dwelling, with a total area of 65square meters, but with high ceilings, can turn into a universal living space, if properly used every corner of it. An example of this is in the Canal Lachine neighborhood. Visitors to the Forum-Grad site can see how the loft-style apartment was transformed, which means “old attic”, from ideas. This interior is characterized by brickwork on the walls, exposed beams and other structures, a lot of wood: on the floor and ceiling. With the advent of the child there is a needthe restructuring of the premises, taking into account the new way of life of a young family, so that it is comfortable and functional. As a result of the reconstruction, a bold architectural solution is embodied - raising the bed for parents on the mezzanine. The wave-like shape of the canopy is of visual interest, it does not press on the children's area located below. "Attic" looks modern and comfortable.
