Design a small apartment of 24 square meters

Usually designers come with smallapartments so: choose a pair of cozy light colors and dilute them with bright accents. In the case of this Far Eastern apartment, the choice fell on the most unexpected color - black. The result is stunning The old houses of Stalin's times are known for inconvenient layouts and small squares of apartments, but it is in them that usually there are the highest ceilings and large beautiful windows. It was these two features that helped the designer Tatyana Shishkina realize the bold idea of black monochrome. Articles related to Tatiana Shishkina, interior designer Tatiana was educated in the specialty of "interior art" in the Far Eastern State Technical University. After the institute, she worked in one of Vladivostok's famous design studios, and on September 4, 2014, together with her colleague, officially opened the Inroom design studio. She won the 8th season of the Pinwin international competition, the Barlett Interior Awards in 2016 and the Add Awards in 2016. She calls her work not just a hobby, but a passion, a second life. Such a ceiling height with a very tiny area gives the effect of a well. And this minus the designer decided to turn into a plus, breaking the space vertically. As a result, the apartment has acquired the second level and a new useful area, and its tenants will not feel as if on the bottom. Thanks to the additional space, newPossibility to place all necessary zones for life. At the first level there was an entrance hall with a wardrobe for seasonal clothes, a bathroom with a large shower room, a living room with a soft sofa and a TV-zone, a tiny but functional kitchen. The second level was taken under the bedroom with a large bed, a dressing room that can be hidden behind the curtains, and a small study. The new layout very pleased the customer, because before she had to sleep on a folding couch, and the storage space was sorely lacking. In such a non-standard apartment and decoration shouldbe original, so the main color in the design was black. And that the space did not look gloomy and overloaded, he was picked up in an oak white floor and snow-white ceiling. One little trick helped to reduce the height and make the room lighter: a ceiling frieze 30 cm high. Of course, this unusual designrequired thoughtful lighting. It was necessary to place several sources of "warm" light to create comfort - a floor lamp by the sofa, a desk lamp near the TV stand, a large decorative chandelier and a small lamp near the bed. But it was impossible to do without the main lighting - point-mounted overhead lamps of high power with a neutral light temperature. If necessary, they will fill the entire space of the studio with light. As for furniture, much will be done onorder, because every inch is important in a small apartment, and it is very difficult to find the finished furniture for the required dimensions. To order, for example, will be made a kitchen set - the lower facades made of dyed MDF, the top of the veneer, tinted in black, and the business card of the kitchen will become the retrofrigerator Gorenje. In the living room, the TV stand will also be made to order, a sofa and a coffee table chosen from the brand B & B. In the bathroom the strict Germans made friends with soft Frenchmen - Duravit plumbing and Volevatch mixers. It turned out a great combination! Related articles ground floor plan
