How many square meters do you need to comfortablyto equip your life for one person? As today's day and the ideas of modern designers suggest, there are very few. The main thing is to be rational, practical and have a good imagination You have noticed that more and more people prefer housing with a small area, but located near the center, to apartments of impressive size on the outskirts. Developers, keeping up with modern trends, bring small studio apartments into the projects of their houses (including elite ones). Very often we are talking about areas of about 20 square meters. It would seem that this is so that a person does not feel like in a cage in his apartment. But this is not the case, given that the small footage has a number of its advantages. First, for a small apartment is much easiercare, and the time it takes is much less. Secondly, in a cozy studio, where everything is at hand and in sight, you will never feel lonely and you will not feel uneasy, as it happens in large apartments. Thirdly, a small area will wean you to buy unnecessary things and teach you to be more inventive in arranging your comfort. Designer Nikolai Vashantsev proposed his own versionlayout of a small apartment, and his idea was unanimously recognized by the professional community as very successful. The room area of 16 square meters in a five-story building in St. Petersburg. One window, walls and partitions are missing. It was these initial data that the designer had. What kind of solution did he find? Nikolay Vashantsev Designer, graduated from KharkovState Academy of Design and Arts. "I am an artist, because every project for me is the creation of a new image in space." Play with light In order to let in as much natural light as possible into the apartment. The window transmits enough of it, but to enhance the effect, the walls are covered with glossy white paint that reflects it. In order not to clutter up the space, they hung up light tulle and roman blinds - in case the sun is too bright. For the dark time of day and cloudy weather, a whole system of artificial lighting was created, which can create both bright illumination and an intimate atmosphere. It consists of a floor lamp near the front door, two minimalist lamps on the sides of the sofa and a structure on the ceiling from a group of hanging lamps, which is adjustable in height. Functional furniture will save space you needuse every free centimeter. And we must not forget that as few things as possible should be visible - they steal the illusion of space. Therefore, they require an individual project of functional furniture. In this case, suspended mezzanines, a pull-out wardrobe and closed shelves were used. All free zones are involved: the window sill, the surfaces of the overall equipment, the table and hanging shelves. In the corridor area near the front door for outerwear there is a hanger, which takes up little space and is one of the decor elements. Minimum decor In a small studio, you cannotoverdo it with decoration. A small space should not be overloaded, otherwise it will lose its visual volume. But even without bright accents, the apartment will look faceless and uninteresting. This space is made original by a purple fabric on which hangs the head of a deer made of plywood. Hanging bookshelves above the sofa and photo frames under the plasma panel will create an atmosphere of coziness, home warmth and creative individuality of the owner of the apartment. A skilful combination of furniture and appliances from the 60s, dating back to the period when the house was built, and objects of modern design, create an atmosphere of uniqueness of this living space. In a small-sized studio apartment, made according to the original design, taking into account the characteristics of your character and lifestyle, it will be comfortable for everyone who lives alone.
