The main thing is to be rational, practical and have a good imagination. You noticed that more and more people prefer a house with a small area, but located near the center, apartments of impressive sizes on the outskirts. Developers, not falling behind modern trends, make small studio apartments in their houses (including elite ones). Very often we are talking about squares about 20 square meters. It would seem that this is so that a person does not feel in his apartment as in a cage. But this is not so, given that the small footage has a number of its advantages. First, for a small apartment is much easiercare, and the time it takes is much less. Thirdly, a small area will wean you to buy unnecessary things and teach you to be more inventive in arranging your comfort. Designer Nikolai Vashantsev proposed his own versionlayout of a small apartment, and his idea was unanimously recognized by the professional community as very successful. The room area of 16 square meters in a five-story building in St. Petersburg. One window, walls and partitions are missing. It was these initial data that the designer had. What kind of solution did he find? Nikolai Vashantsev Designer, graduated from KharkovState Academy of Design and Arts. "I'm an artist, because every project for me is creating a new image in space." Game by light In order that, it was necessary to let in the apartment as much as possible natural light. The window skips it enough, but to enhance the effect, the walls are covered with glossy white paint that reflects it. To not clutter up the space, hung a light tulle and Roman curtains - in case the sun was too bright. For a dark time of day and cloudy weather, a whole system of artificial lighting was created, which can create both bright illuminations and an intimate atmosphere. It consists of a floor lamp near the entrance door, two minimalist lamps on the sides of the sofa and a ceiling design of a group of hanging lamps, which is adjustable in height. Functional furniture will save space, every free centimeter should be used. And we must not forget that there should be as few things as possible in sight - they steal the illusion of space. Therefore, they need an individual design of functional furniture. In this case, suspended mezzanines, a drawer for the wardrobe and closed shelves were used. All free zones are involved: a window sill, surface of dimensional equipment, tables and hanging shelves. In the corridor area near the entrance door for the outer clothing stands a hanger, which takes up little space and is one of the decor elements. Minimum Decor In a small-size studio, you can notoverdo it with decoration. A small space should not be overloaded, otherwise it will lose in the visual volume. But even without bright accents the apartment will look faceless and uninteresting. Original this space makes a purple cloth on which the head of a deer from a plywood hangs. Suspended bookshelves above the sofa and photo frames under the plasma panel will create an atmosphere of coziness, home warmth and creative individuality of the owner of the apartment. A skillful combination of pieces of furniture and equipment of the 60s, relating to the period of construction of the house, and modern design items allow creating an atmosphere of uniqueness of this living space. In a small-sized studio apartment, made according to the original design, taking into account the characteristics of your character and lifestyle, it will be comfortable for everyone who lives alone.
