Fantastic project from Zaha Hadid for the London Museum of Science

1

What is this - the scenery for the new fantastica movie with Tom Cruise? A spaceship board? Great news: this is the future gallery of mathematical sciences at the Science Museum (London), and its design was developed by the legendary Zaha Hadid. Mathematics plays an important role in the life of the architect Zaha Hadid. She studied this science at the American University of Beirut. In many ways, she made this choice, impressed as a child by visiting the Science Museum in London. She remembered that excursion forever. Who would have thought that after many years she would return here again, but not as a contemplator, but as an architect, in order to develop the design of one of the largest halls. It is planned that the gallery of mathematics, which is designed by Zaha, will exhibit the achievements of mathematical science, starting from the 17th century. One of the brightest exhibits that servedthe basis for the design of the hall, will be the airplane-bomber Handley Page 1929 of release. At its designing and assembling the most complicated equations were applied to provide the plane with a slow landing and soft take-off. Zaha Hadid decided to make this plane the main oneart object of the gallery. It will be fixed to the ceiling, and the entire interior of the hall will become a conditional display of its turbulence. To do this, Zaha had to work hard with mathematical formulas. At the same time, she managed to preserve her corporate identity and create another piece of modern architecture. The Gallery of Mathematical Sciences is scheduled to open in 2016. The exact date is still unknown. Zaha Hadid's website also says that the gallery will bear the names of the project's sponsors Claudia and David Harding. They donated over $ 8,000,000 for the project. zaha-hadid.com
