The first thing that catches your eye in this interior isplayful creative mess. Numerous objects seem to hint that an expressive nature lives here, fascinated by music, fashion, art. However, this is just a tricky design trick. Usually, when creating a design for a room for a future owner, the author leaves some understatement, implying the ability to complement the interior with personal items and moods of the person who will live in it. However, the self-confident young Belgian designer Maxime Jacquet has managed to create such a rich decorative clutter in one of the spacious penthouses in Los Angeles () that it simply leaves no chance for further interior development. Maxime Jacquet, designer Born in Belgium. In 2008 he moved to Los Angeles. Has no special design education, but since 2010 has been successfully designing residential and public premises. As soon as you cross the threshold of this, you will immediately have the feeling that someone lives in it. At the same time, the owner, and most likely the owner of the apartment, appears to us as a kind of expressive, enthusiastic and not too tidy. It's hard to believe that all this decorative chaos, consisting of numerous furniture, objects, musical instruments, fashion accessories and children's toys, is in fact the idea of the designer himself. Despite the absurd combinations of decorativeaccessories such as the numerous Hello Kitty stuffed animals adorning antique bookcases or the portrait of a nun alongside the designs of fashionable bags, the interior exudes a positive vibe. Perhaps the whole point is that the gorgeous views of Los Angeles, which open from the panoramic windows, remind us that there are no rules for the inhabitants of the "city of angels". Maxime Jacquet has created the perfect space for a vibrant representative of modern urban culture. There is really nothing to add to the interior, which contains art posters, neon signs, fashionable books and accessories, and why ... Does a secular diva have time to practice decorative experiments? Our opinion: - The interior contains a huge number of contrasting accessories, which are nevertheless united by a kindred feminine mood. But the rock paraphernalia (electric guitars), typical of the brutal masculine decor, in our opinion, really hurts the eyes. That the interior presupposes presencewomen say a lot of obvious details: decorative references to famous fashion names (Coco Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Karl Lagerfeld), the dominant female theme in the posters, and, of course, cocktail dresses flaunting on a hanger in the bedroom. Hello Kitty collection, chamomile pillows and ducklings in the bathroom are designed to emphasize the playful and carefree mood of the apartment and its potential occupant. At the same time, the abundance of books and the chessboard speaks of the intellectual implications of the interior idea. Upon a detailed examination of all the interior nuances, you understand that, despite the seeming oversaturation, there are no random elements in the design of Maxime Jacquet. The decorative abundance and untidiness of the penthouse design are a projection of the versatile interests and conflicting hobbies inherent in modern creative natures, to which the designer himself belongs. Our opinion: - The interior certainly looks very bright and original. However, despite the effect of "habitable space", the penthouse is not perceived as a house in the traditional sense of the word. Rather, it is suitable for parties and photo shoots. founterior.com
