I wonder if famous architects would dofurniture design, what would come of it? The Russian designers Anna Strupinskaya and Alexey Ivashkevich tried to find the answer. They decided to take the tower on Shabolovka, built in 1920 by Vladimir Shukhov, and its famous hyperboloid mesh structure, which can withstand huge loads, as the basis for the work. As a result, Anna and Alexei got it, which consists of 24 structural elements. All connections are printed on, and the chair itselfwithstands a load of up to 300 kilograms and can be manually assembled / disassembled an unlimited number of times. The designers gave their name to their creation in honor of their main inspirer - Shukhov-chair. And he became only the first object in a whole series of furniture based on architectural motives, which Anna and Alexei conceived. We look forward to continuing!
