The house, located on a hill in the small Cypriot village of Platres, is another of Vardastudio's completed projects. Its light and elegant interior retains a sense of closeness to nature, while the use of rough stone and wood in the exterior only enhances this feeling. This house is somewhat different from the neighboring houses, it is faced with iroko wood. This large African tree is very dense and resistant to external influences. If you look closely at the house, you can see that its wood paneling continues on the roof, thus creating a single design element. This makes the appearance of the home more cohesive and modern. 
The house looks pretty simple, but it's not randomsimplicity is a concept: to fit the house into the surrounding landscape so that it looks harmonious in it. Therefore, both local stone and wood were used here in the decoration of the facade. Large windows of the house allow you to see the nature that surrounds it. In hot weather, the windows can be closed with shutters. The rooms in the house are light and airy, they give the tenants a feeling of peace and comfort. To create a special spatial perception, the architects took the internal vertical axis as a basis.
