And in order to diversify this boring household process, add a creative component to it by making several original hanging shelves with your own hands. There are probably some free walls in your apartment that will be the perfect backdrop for wooden shelves suspended from leather straps. Their unusual style - a mixture of country, eco and minimalism - is in line with fashionable design trends. Therefore, spending a little time and effort on the manufacture of these shelves, you will not only get additional storage space, but also stylish decorative accessories. To make shelves, you will need:
- 2 wooden planks (in our case, their size is 75x30 cm);
- 4 leather straps (the optimal length for our original sizes is 75 cm);
- 8 screws or screws (4 long, with plastic dowels, and 4 short);
- sharp knife or scalpel;
- Ruler;
- drill;
- level (tool).
First, using a sharp knife and ruler, trim the edges of the straps to give them an aesthetic look. 
Then fold the straps in half and drill through the holes for fastening as shown in the photo. 
The distance from the edge of the strap to the drilling point should be approximately 2 cm. 
The next step is to fasten the straps to the wall using large screws. To facilitate the task, pre-drill holes and install plastic dowels in them. 
Place the prepared board in advancethe resulting leather loops and with the help of a level, give your future shelf a strictly horizontal position. Having achieved the desired result, finally fix on the wall the back of the strap with the help of short screws. 
Having done the same actions with the remaining materials, you will get a wonderful set of two suspended shelves, which will take a worthy place in your interior.
