Mikhail Filippov, architect Mikhail Filippov inIn 1979, he graduated from the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. He is currently a member of the Union of Architects of Russia and the Union of Artists of Moscow, as well as a professor at the International Academy of Architecture and the head of his own creative workshop. It has existed for over 10 years, developing the classical tradition in modern architecture, and designs objects of any complexity - from interiors to complexes with an area of over 200,000 meters. Such residential complexes as Gorki Gorod in Krasnaya Polyana (Sochi), "Roman House", residential complex "Marshal", "Italian Quarter", "Gardens of Elizabeth" and many others were built according to his designs. Mikhail Filippov has 7 international and 35 national awards in architecture and design, and his projects can be seen on the covers of leading architectural publications and almanacs of the world. He has created a great many objects around the world, including in Moscow, which he talked about in his lecture "IV Rome". The lecture took place at the Shchusev Museum of Architecture. One of the best modern Russian architects talked about how difficult it was to bring his architectural vision to urban development. After all, Mikhail essentially accomplished the impossible. No one believed that he would be able to return the classical tradition to modern architecture. But he did it! Now in Moscow and elsewhere you can find a lot of buildings in the neoclassical style - exquisite and very beautiful. Mikhail Filippov showed hisgraphic works, the inspiration for which he drew from Italian courtyards and quarters, as well as ancient buildings. They all breathe history, which is why residents of large cities prefer to go for a walk in the center from their uniform quarters to admire the facades, colonnades, windows and buildings that are unique from an architectural point of view. The architect's main idea during his speech wasbecame that over time, future cities will once again "turn their faces" to people. Now they are just a territory for existence, with shops, cars and typical buildings. But in the city you want to live and enjoy every day, and for this you need to surround yourself with things that are pleasing to the eye. That is why it is necessary to build in such a way that everyone is comfortable. This concept is reflected in the building under constructionnow in the Moscow region UP-quarter "Rimsky", which is being implemented by the financial and construction corporation "Leader". Mikhail Filippov is creating an ideal city where cars and people will not interfere with each other. It is designed for walks and beautiful panoramic views, while for cars, movement is provided on the lower level. The quarter will be ready by the end of 2018.
