Nobody would refuse a handmade carpet,made according to ancient Tibetan technology. And if the design of this carpet was developed by one of the world's best designers, then it is simply doomed to success. Patricia Urquiola has developed a whole series for the famous Italian brand CC-Tapis. A new line called Visioni, which means “visions” in Italian, was presented on October 11 at the “Kitchen Interiors” salon on Dmitry Ulyanov Street. About 90 guests arrived at the presentation, including the owner of CC-Tapis, as well as a representative of CC-Tapis and Poliform Svetlana Koroleva. The design clearly shows the play of three-dimensional space and modern abstract motives. It is all the more interesting that they are made in an ancient way, by hand, by Tibetan artisans in Nepal. The manufacturing process includes hand knitting, final trimming and rainwater washing. Visioni carpets are available in 100% Himalayan wool, pure silk or a blend of the two. It takes about three months to manufacture, but in return you will forever receive a piece of ancient Tibet.
