Is it possible to place on an area of 6 squaremeters of bed, workplace, TV, bookshelves, wardrobe, wardrobe, closet and minibar? You will be surprised, but this is quite real! Let's see how this is possible at all. Sometimes it happens that you really want to buy some useful thing, but you can't find it anywhere. And this does not happen because the search engine does not work well, but simply no one has done it yet. In such a situation, most people think: “It would be cool to do it! But I'd rather go and have some ice cream. " However, there are daredevils who do not stop only at the idea and bring the matter to the end, materializing their ideas. And when the result is liked not only by you and your mother, but also by other people - this is a victory! We will now tell one of such success stories. Till Könnecker, designer Born in 1980 into the creative family of a writer and artist. This passionate collector of beautiful, useless things loves to experiment with different materials, and always approaches the workflow in a playful manner and with a willingness to take risks. Thiel currently works in Bern. illdesigns.ch When the young and ambitious designer Till Konneker moved to a new apartment in Bern, there was storage space. But buying a wardrobe is too boring, and even impractical, because you will need additional shelves for a collection of your favorite vinyl records, a TV stand and a soft corner for reading. Having estimated how much space all this will take and how it will affect the budget, the designer decided to approach this problem outside the box and combined all his storage needs in one single item, and he became The Living Cube. Til Könneker himself developed sketchescabinet, and the craftsmen Remo Zimerelli and Darren Green embodied them in life. The main material for Cube was chosen for a unique in appearance and appearance sea tree, which made the furniture even more original and attractive. In his configuration, the designer installed shelves forvinyl records, compartments for outerwear and shoes, as well as a section for a TV. A soft bed is arranged on top of the cube, to which an elegant black staircase leads, and inside the closet there is a pantry for a variety of things. So it turned out to be a real room in a room. After Till invented such a convenient contraption for himself, it quickly gained popularity on the Web, and he simply could not help but make it available to everyone. If, after looking at the photos, you immediately get the idea of buying such a multifunctional and versatile piece of furniture, go to livingcube.furniture and build your own wardrobe.

I wanted to concentrate on practicality andfunctionality, and also omit unnecessary elements. My goal - to come up with a design that is timeless, which is suitable for different spaces and in any life situation.

Til Könnecker In your own version of Cube, you can composeanything on any of the four sides, and on all at once, if you only want. These can be shelves for books, cabinets for shoes and accessories, a minibar and much more. There are also several options for stairs and doors. And inside the closet, you can equip not only a pantry or dressing room, but also a wine cellar, an additional bathroom or even a study, where no one will interfere. The dimensions of the main unit are 4 meters wide, 1.6meter in depth and 2 meters in height. As for the prices for The Living Cube, they start from $ 3,000, and taking into account additional elements and costs for delivery will be even more expensive. Manufacture of a case today is carried out only in Switzerland and the North Carolina, but in the future the geography of manufacturing can considerably expand. After several months of competition, the projectLiving Cube Furniture still managed to win the popular Architizer A + Award in the Living Products category in 2014. And given the designer's irrepressible desire to improve and create useful things, this is most likely just the first of the awards in the life of Thiel Könnecker. illdesigns.ch, Rob Lewis
