For example, in New York. What kind of building will attract you in the first place? The correct answer is an old, dilapidated motorcycle garage. It was its dilapidated walls that became the basis for the 5-storey dream house of our heroes - with huge bedrooms, a rooftop kitchen and a basketball hall. But most importantly, the authors of the project of this bright, unusual interior were the owners themselves - the Novogratz spouses. 
This is the first project of self-taught designers Robert andCourtney Novogarts (Robert and Cortney Novogratz), they made from scratch. Prior to this, the prolific duo dealt exclusively with "transformation" and "ennobling", that is why working on a project of their own house in the place of a 2-level garage in Manhattan became a very exciting period for them. 
Mother-heroine calls her new house eighthChild and admits that the absence of their specialized education with their spouse always went only to benefit the work: "We never doubted our own strengths and were not afraid to make mistakes. Because when you create your own rules, it's easy to follow them. " 
For their own home, the authors of the project developed2 main principles: organization and scale. First of all, there is an ideal order and free space (after all, living in a kennel, it is almost impossible to grow free).

The main inspiration for the couple, of course,There were children: in this house everything is focused primarily on their present and future. In particular, the white walls are designed to stimulate the imagination and shade the objects of contemporary art, which, according to the spouses, with young nails should form the artistic taste of the younger generation.
