The board facade hides the cozy interior of the smallhouse The interior of a small house, which will be discussed in our article, planned as a space for family living. The developers of this design are the architects and designers of Tiny Heirloom Inc., whose office is located in the city of Portland, Oregon. For several years, they are engaged in the fact that they create tiny houses on individual projects for people who want to simplify their existence. This creative team promotes a particular way of life, infecting with its ideas those who want to get rid of the fetters of consumer philosophy. The beginning of this large-scale activity was the development and construction of a facility designed to become an ideal model of a compact house on wheels. Soon, when young enthusiasts supportedhundreds of people, this idea has developed rapidly. One of the most popular base models offered by the company is a modern space with an area of only 15 m 2. All zones into which it is divided are as compact as possible, but at the same time absolutely functional. It's amazing how much benefit the designers managed to “squeeze” out of such a limited amount! Modest-looking box mounted on a black steel platform of the trailer. It is lined with horizontal dark wood clapboard. The upper windows are equipped with flaps, allowing to regulate the ventilation and the penetration of sunlight. And they offer a great view of the surroundings. An outdoor staircase leads to an improvised roof terrace furnished with a pair of chairs and a table. There is no more comfortable place for spending evenings over a glass of cold beer! The kitchen is located far from the front door corner of the house. A small combination of lower cabinets is crowned with a massive wooden tabletop, complemented by an apron of glass tiles. The number and capacity of various shelves and compartments for storing kitchen utensils and dishes is really impressive. Steep steps, located opposite the mini-living room, allow you to go up to the mezzanine level, where a sleeping place is equipped. A window is built into the vaulted ceiling, as if created to contemplate the starry sky. The authors of the project do not claim that their business canattributed to the number of very profitable, but a sense of satisfaction from the awareness of its importance is much more valuable.
