Initially, the designers were setthe task is to develop an optimal layout for these apartments, more relevant to the actual needs of the owners. The position of the bearing walls led to quite strict restrictions in the organization of the interior, and they had to be considered. The authors of the project had to develop a new strategy for the rational use of space. A series of continuous spaces - just suchconfiguration acquired apartments after reconstruction. The focal design element, as already mentioned, was a wall of turquoise color in the living room. Its velvety structure is set off by the golden glitter of vintage frames, placed in an asymmetrical manner. The aesthetics of space are based on unique components: built-in wall modules, “invisible doors” and a fragment of a real lawn, cut flush with the floor. The conciseness of the furniture is balanced by the richthe texture of the walls and floor, the presence of living plants and spectacular prints. The intimacy of the bedroom design is provided by well-organized lighting - very soft, warm and enveloping. Turquoise color in the interior of this apartmentperforms several functions at once. First, it forms a unique design character. Secondly, the wall of a contrasting shade successfully distracts attention from the strict linearity of space. And, finally, it is the turquoise color, combined with the subdued brilliance of golden frames, serves as a reminder of the respectable age of the building, causing associations with baroque interiors.
