Combine in the decor of simple circles, squares,rectangles - always relevant and fashionable. How to apply strict shapes and clear lines in a residential interior? Enjoying a real example from Italy This two-level 160-meter residence is located in Milan. There is a large living room, kitchen, several bedrooms, two bathrooms and a terrace with a decorative garden. The design of the apartment was occupied by studio Disegnoinopera. To turn typical rooms into stylish spaces, the authors of this project had to recall geometry. 
Rectangles and squares: the asymmetric atmosphere of life and freedom
Most of the first level is occupied by the living room.room with an individual wall system. Niches are made in the form of simple squares and rectangles, which creates a sense of reliability in the interior. They are located asymmetrically and focus attention on themselves. We also managed to highlight certain zones in space. To make the interior look expressive, the partitions on the glass door leading to a small balcony were marked with clear straight lines. The sofa with cushions and carpet on the floor are also shaped like asymmetrical squares and rectangles. The furniture in the living room is arranged in such a way that the integrity of the basic geometric shapes is not disturbed. It is suitable for both lively communication and relaxation. Our opinion: - If the color of the furniture is chosen in a geometric interior, then in order to maintain a balance, it is appropriate to use a floor covering of a darker color. 
Circles: save space and smooth corners
If squares and rectangles are brought intospace, clarity, neatness and order, then circles and waves serve as softening elements in the decor. Smooth lines add the necessary harmony to the space and create a homey feel. Therefore, the interior has wavy and round shapes. A bright accent in the room is a spiral staircase leading to the second level of the apartment. This option saved space, and also made the interior more interesting and stylish. Round shapes made it possible to combine all objects into one common composition. Pay attention - rounded shapes are present in many pieces of furniture, plumbing fixtures, in mirrors, this is a trendy trend today. 
The minimum of bright colors
Geometric shapes and so attractattention, so the color palette was chosen more calm and light. The interior is not devoid of juicy accents, which refresh the space: appetizing cherries, flowers, fruits and pictures in the kitchen. Even on the original chandelier, in the center of the living room, a bright, but discreet touch was made. It is fixed on a red cord. The main thing is that such reception allows you to pay attention to the unusual shape of the lighting device, but it does not dominate the interior. 
In the bedroom area, there is nothing to distract fromcalming calm mood. Simple rectangular lines of beds and pillows are ideal for small rooms. Moreover, one of them opens a beautiful view from the window to the terrace with luscious green plants.
