The interior of a small balcony

The interior of a small balcony for complete relaxation

The project we want to introduce todayguests of the site about small interiors, was implemented in 2014. The designers who worked on a small typical multi-story building managed to visually expand the existing area, transforming a boring room into a stunning relaxation zone. It is pleasant to sit here alone, throw all thoughts out of your head, forget about the hustle and bustle and indulge in leisurely thoughts. To carry out the work, no large financial investments were required, since as furniture, specialists used improvised material such as wooden pallets, from which a decent sofa was made, ordinary soft pillows and old wooden boxes for making book shelves. By the way, they were specially attached almost under the ceiling so that they did not visually reduce the already cramped space. The resulting interior is made in the besttraditions of minimalism: the walls are painted in classic white, which perfectly matches the wooden details, the cream shade of the blanket laid out on the sofa and compact spotlights. However, another style in this case would be inappropriate. As facing materials, the architects used white lining for the floor and decorative plaster "Bark beetle" for the walls and ceiling. At the request of the owners, the loggia was insulated with foam plastic, two layers of styrodur and a special foil insulation, so it can be used in the cold season. To prevent moisture from getting in, the walls were covered with moisture-resistant cardboard, which became the basis for the plaster. As a result, an isolated space appeared in the apartmenta place to relax, where, regardless of the modest amount of furniture and decorative elements, a person can feel cozy and calm. The highlight of the project, undoubtedly, were wooden boxes and pallets, skillfully transformed into spacious book stands and a comfortable bed. Surprisingly, sometimes such ordinary things become unique and memorable details.
