At the ISH exhibition in Frankfurt am Main, the brandLaufen presented its latest design creations and functional solutions for the bathroom. The company once again engaged renowned designers to work on new collections, giving them complete freedom of action. That is why this year there were so many innovations and developments that we were lucky enough to see.Laufen has already collaborated with the renownedSpanish designer Patricia Urquiola, when she contacted her to design a new showroom in Madrid. Incidentally, it opened in November 2016. This was only a pretext for continuing further collaboration. As a result, Patricia created an entire bathroom collection, called Sonar. It included sinks and bathtubs made of thin, durable and lightweight SaphirKeramik material, the design potential of which has not yet reached its limits. As we remember, this revolutionary ceramicThe material was presented in Frankfurt four years ago. The first collections using SaphirKeramik were developed by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, Konstantin Grcic and Toan Nguyen. Now the name has come for new names that will be able to develop and implement even bolder and more innovative ideas that will change the perception of the bathroom space. For me, Laufen means many things: innovation, choice, research into the best materials, respect for design aimed at constantly achieving maximum quality. In my collection, the rigor of architectural minimalism has become an expression of purity and energy that are inextricably linked with water. Patricia UrquiolaAusterity and functionality are twocharacteristics that unite the Laufen brand and the style of the talented Patricia Urquiola. And as the company's management stated, with the new elegant Sonar collection, the designer was able to bring the SaphirKeramik material to the third level, thus continuing the process of studying its properties. And this is not the limit, so the most emotional and intellectual solutions for equipping a bathroom are still ahead!
