At the ISH exhibition in Frankfurt am Main, the brandLaufen presented its latest design creations and functional solutions for the bathroom. The company again attracted famous designers to work on new collections, giving them complete freedom of action. That is why so many innovations and developments were presented this year, which we were lucky to see. Laufen already cooperated with the eminentSpanish designer Patricia Urquiola, when she appealed to her to design a new show room in Madrid. It, by the way, was opened in November 2016. This was only an excuse for continuing further joint work. As a result - Patricia created a whole collection for the bathroom, called Sonar. It included shells and bathtubs made of thin, durable and lightweight SaphirKeramik material, the design potential of which has not yet reached its limits. As we recall, this revolutionary ceramicthe material was presented in Frankfurt four years ago. The first collections in which SaphirKeramik was used were developed by Louis and Roberto Palomba, Constantine Grcic and Toan Nguyen. Now the name has come for new names that can develop and implement even more daring and innovative ideas that change the idea of the space of the bathroom. For me Laufen means a lot: innovation, choice, research of the best materials, respect for design, aimed at the constant achievement of maximum quality. In my collection, the rigor of architectural minimalism has become an expression of purity and energy that are inextricably linked with water. Patricia Urquiola Strictness and functionality - these are twoThe characteristics that unite the brand Laufen and the style of the talented Patricia Urquiola. And as the company's leaders said, the new elegant collection of Sonar designer was able to bring the material SaphirKeramik to the third level, thus continuing the process of studying its properties. And this is not the limit, so the most emotional and intelligent solutions for equipping the bathroom are yet to come!
