IKEA 2017 - the new collection "Stockholm" is presented

The pace of life today is very fast:We are used to always rushing, getting results right away and doing several things at once. But there are things that cannot stand fuss. That is why the principle of slow living and hygge (the philosophy of serenity and comfort) have become so popular today, inspiring us to stop and enjoy every moment. Measuredness and calmness are what many people needthere really isn't enough of it now. For example, almost every third participant in a recent IKEA study would like to take their time and spend more time on everyday activities. 32% of respondents are sure that this will even improve their quality of life. 23% of study participants associate an increase in stress levels with the fact that even at home we are constantly faced with urgent matters. But where, if not at home, should we rest? Of course, in nature.Scandinavian nature is pristine beauty, constancy and cyclicality of seasons, a special rhythm. This also applies to the talent of Scandinavian masters, honed over the years - high quality also does not tolerate haste. Scandinavian style has become a reflection of the concepts of time, naturalness and craftsmanship. Inspired by them, the IKEA company created the Stockholm-2017 collection. The collection became the embodiment of the concept"slow life". Each item in this collection - be it a rug, a tray, a decorative pillow, a chair or a cabinet - was created without regard for the time and resources spent. For example, IKEA designers did not miss the opportunity to improve their products to achieve a flawless result, even if this required a personal trip to the factory in Indonesia. This is not the first time Stockholm has appeared in Russiatimes. And this collection is always associated with a modern Scandinavian style, practicality and high quality. This year, when creating the collection, an important source of inspiration for the designers was Swedish nature, namely water - always cold, even in summer. Therefore, the new products are distinguished by a palette based on the Nordic dark blue color. Related articles However, the connection with nature does not end only with color solutions. "Stockholm-2017" consists of dozens of products made from natural, environmentally friendly and durable materials - rattan, ash and blown glass. Many items in the collection are handmade, since this year special attention was also paid to the tactile qualities of furniture and accessories.
