Any room can be decorated in a modern stylestyle, without spending a lot of money. The site about small interiors decided to prove today that there are no difficult and impossible tasks. This apartment looked very boring: concrete walls, cement floors. But thanks to original design ideas, all the minuses turned into pluses, and in the end we got a unique space for a young family.Young people expected to spend a minimumfinances, as they were planning to move soon. Based on these considerations, the designers proposed a simple solution: the walls and ceilings were left in their original form, without plastering. This was a great opportunity to use concrete as a design base rather than hiding it, as is usually the case, with wallpaper or other finishing materials. Not hiding anything is one of the ideas in this interior, so the electrical wires run over the concrete slabs, and the pipes in the bathroom are covered only by a glass sliding door. Most often, extraordinary ideas require a lot ofcosts for implementation, but not in this case. The unusual kitchen table was assembled from improvised means: the stand was used from an old table, and the tabletop was made from boards that were processed with a plane and covered with a special oil. The only furniture in the kitchen is floor-standing built-in cabinets. They contain a sink, a hob and a work surface for cooking. To prevent a grey room from looking like thisdull, the walls dividing the rooms were painted white and the accent was on bright details, such as a large panel in the kitchen area and in the bedroom. Creative items such as an unusual wooden chair or a floor lamp in the form of a skateboard make the interior unique. The biggest expense was on the flooringcoating: a special polymer was used here. This material is very durable and at the same time flexible, which helps prevent fragile objects from breaking when dropped. It is painted in the color of natural wood in a gray shade to match the concrete walls. Now we see that ordinary concrete can be used like any other materials for finishing in a modern style.
