For this, pieces of ordinary cardboard of the required thickness are used, they are placed between the bars of the frame and the door. A bar is placed against the end upper parts of the frame, it is aligned with the posts, the length of the crossbar is measured with a pencil. It is cut out, it is necessary to work carefully with the veneer so that there are no chips. Protrusions for the rebate are made on the crossbar. It is important to measure everything correctly, although after the final installation all the flaws will be covered with platbands. To cut the rebate, it is better to use a hacksaw with fine teeth.
