Austrian design studio Bonpart has developed a stylish and very practical table, offering it as an alternative to residents of apartments in the historic center of Vienna, where the kitchens are more like hallways, and not very wide ones at that. The product, called Altbau (which seems to mean "old house"), is equipped with an additional alder wood tabletop and storage compartments hidden behind panels made of laminated plywood and HPL plastic. The structure is supported by a steel frame. When placed in the kitchen along with other furniture, this table significantly increases the functionality of its interior.
