The interior of a small house Minimod by MAPA Architects

Exterior and interior of a small house in styleMinimalism The interior of a tiny house that seems like it could fit on this page actually embodies a great idea. It breaks through architectural boundaries on the way to rethinking the concept of living in compact spaces. A project called Minimod, developed by specialists from the Brazilian studio MAPA Architects, allows us to look at the construction of small-sized homes in a new way. Here you will not see a sleeping place on the mezzanine, built above a tiny kitchen. This is not a trailer, or even an imitation of one. Before you is a carefully planned and impeccably executed space in which not a single detail is accidental and not a single square centimeter is used thoughtlessly. Yes, anyone can build a tiny house. Almost no one can build something like this. Like most prefabricated objects, Minimod is delivered to the site on a flatbed truck, but it should not be considered a temporary shelter. This minimalist home should take its permanent place where its inhabitants will feel most comfortable. We are talking about a modular object consisting ofseveral cubic elements, each of which contains a laconic functional space. The integrity of the shell is broken only by a few modest window openings and an exit to an open veranda, without which the emergence of a feeling of crampedness would be inevitable. Only those who have been inside will be able to fully experience the harmony between the external design and the content of this wonderful box. The space, limited by plywood walls, floors and ceilings, contains a tiny kitchen, a tiny bedroom and an equally tiny, but very bright bathroom, from which a magnificent view of the surroundings opens. Privacy is not ensured here, because it is not necessary. This project proclaims the unification of architectural planning and carpentry craftsmanship, designed to produce something truly unique.Would you like your small home to look like this?
