Japanese company MAMM DESIGN has developedapartment reconstruction project, the most original part of which was the layout of the small kitchen. Multi-level apartments are located in an old building in Amsterdam. The age of the building is 85 years. The design project includes a very unusual kitchen layout. It seems to be sunken into the floor. The apartment renovation was conceived for a family of four. The clients' main request was maximum light and free space. This is how the living area looks from the staircase side, for example. The interior of the room is done in white. This makes the apartment brighter, and the high ceiling increases the feeling of spaciousness.A tower is built in the center of the apartment (water and sewerage are hidden in it). The tower integrates a kitchen, a play area, and a bathroom on the lower level. The kitchen is slightly recessed into the floor. This is done to visually separate it from the living area. There is a small playroom for children above the kitchen. What do you think of this multi-level apartment idea?
