Luxurious "male" interior of a small apartment

We offer our readers an optionexclusively masculine interior. A businessman and a bachelor, a frequent traveler with taste and style, who wants his home to be functional, businesslike, expensive and strict – such a client turned to the design studio of Lawson Robb. A rather simple and dark apartment with two bedrooms needed to be transformed so that it would resemble a luxury hotel room without losing its hospitality. To implement this project, exclusive handmade decorative elements, strict color scheme, leather and bronze were used. Elegant accessories, complex textures – all this serves to create a chic, but businesslike atmosphere. In order to make the most of natural light, the designer placed three large mirrors in the hallway, reflecting the light falling from the kitchen. The entrance door is decorated with amazing bronzehand-made panel. The metal creates additional highlights. In the dark, a whole cascade of geometrically correct lamps enters into the play of light and shadow. For , even the most luxurious, is always relevantthe issue of maintaining order. For this purpose, practical storage systems have been created in the apartment. They are equipped everywhere so that the owner is deprived of the temptation to leave something out of place.Every detail has been thought out, from the place for keys in the hallway to the last teaspoon.Hidden behind the sliding panels is a home cinema with an extensive collection of films and games. The curtains on the panoramic windows are made withusing chocolate tones, which gives a sense of depth and contrasts them with the pearl-grey upholstery of the walls. Wooden shelves on the wall add warmth to the cool palette of the interior. The walnut floor needed restoration. Those areas that could not be restored were completely hidden by a high carpet. Where the wood was preserved, paints and varnishes with a high degree of light reflection were used to cover it.To achieve greater sophistication, in the bedroomContrasting textures were used. Wall paneling made of woven leather and pale cabinet doors. A lacquered glass-like door and soft silk rugs. The masculinity of the design is emphasized by every detail: the painting on the living room wall, the original decanters, and the complete absence of trinkets dear to a woman’s heart.
