Modern small inexpensive wooden house by the river

One of the small inexpensive wooden housesA small, inexpensive wooden house is for every family. Some things are expensive, but you can approach them together. That's what four young couples did. Friends bought a plot of land next to the Llano River in Texas and were going to build a townhouse-type building - with four apartments. But in the end, they built four small houses, a shared kitchen with a dining room, and a guest house. Local architect Matt Garcia helped design the home. The facade of one of the small inexpensive woodenhouses The interior space of each house is 32.5 m2 and is designed in a studio style, it gives the impression of being open, airy and not devoid of modern aesthetics. The main materials were plywood panels, sheet steel, metal pipes. Most of the finishing was left as is without decor, because of this the interior looks both rustic and modern at the same time.Modern interior with rustic motifsBookshelves made of metal profile"Business" zone along the entire wallMetal rods as racksAt night the houses look like fireflies. This technique helps to escape the Texas heat. The walls are insulated with foam. Each house has an attached patio, and the roofs are designed at an angle to collect rainwater, which is collected in metal tanks.Backyard Water Collection According to Estimate,Each house cost 40 thousand dollars to build. The facade wall of the houses is completely transparent, so the buildings' exits are directed in one direction, which provides isolation and a uniform style at the same time. The experiment was successful - the friends share the plot between themselves and live comfortably in a beautiful place near the river. What did you like about this idea?
