The impetus for the creation of this project wascomposition called "Awakenings" created by Gabriel Faure. The woman, who is a designer, first heard the piece during a student concert at the Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music. In addition, Marina Sarkisyan was inspired to create by the works of the Italian Lucius Rossi with his unforgettable views of Provence.
A few lines about the author
I have been decorating since 2005.All members of my family are creative and extraordinary individuals. Thanks to my father, an artist, I learned to notice art in ordinary things and delve into it completely. I did not become a designer right away. After graduating from the Technical University, I attended a design school, later enrolled in courses at the Career Center and went to Finland, where I took a master class in my field. I work on each new project in a special way. They are like separate worlds for me. When working on the interior of my client, I try to penetrate his image as a theater actor. Using my skills and experience, I do my best to create a cozy atmosphere for another person. Since there were no clear instructions regarding the project, I had to think for myself what could attract a potential buyer. Since such studio apartments are much cheaper, they may well be of interest to young people, a girl with a child, or romantic individuals striving for an independent life.
How did the layout
There is not much space in the bedroom, only 9 square meters, but it is very comfortable and you can feel the warmth of home. The advantage of such studios is the utility room near the entrance.
According to the wishes and preferences of the customer
There was no specific customer and no special requirements were made. All that was needed was to create something interesting that would attract the attention of direct buyers.
Colors
The main color scheme used inproject, echoes the shades of Provence. And these are all green tones of leaves, lavender, and also the blue of a cloudless sky. In the room, bright shades harmonize with calm, pastel tones. The design is mostly related to eclecticism with the introduction of Provence. The studio is decorated with engravings framed in vintage frames, as well as a mirror in a classic style. The beauty of Provence became my kind of muse for the beginning of creative work. And the main engine of creativity was the painting by Lucius Rossi called "Unknown". In the process, I was inspired by the plays of G. Faure, which always suggested the right direction.
Lighting
As it was written earlier, there is only one room in the roomone window, so it was a bit difficult to choose the lighting. The glass door that divides the space made the work easier. That's about natural light. But for artificial light, we used German chandeliers FavouriteUltima, Belgian MassiveBarras and the same sconces. There is also built-in lighting from Astro from England. The light on the balcony is created by sconces Restoration Hardware.
Furniture solution
Furniture from Grange and IKEA was purchased for the project. The Maria kitchen also has vintage-style furniture from the above-mentioned manufacturers. And how could we do without the Vermont sofa? When choosing furniture, we wanted to settle on something practical and roomy. That's why you'll find the Gramercy Home (Provancevine table) folding table here. The sofa is a good place to sleep. And the Hemnes couch from IKEA can be turned into a wonderful bed for two at night. Want to work from home? Then a small table in the bedroom will offer you comfortable conditions.
Apartment textiles
