As the paint layer is applied, the door must be carefully inspected. If one layer is not enough, the surface can be covered with a second. However, this should be done only after sanding the first. Another way to paint a door leaf is based on the use of a tinting composition, which is a special impregnation for wooden surfaces. This paint can be purchased at any specialized retail outlet. When painting a door with a tinting composition, you also need to dismantle the door, remove the fittings and clean off the old paint. The tinting composition is applied and rubbed onto the wooden surface using a special sponge. After applying the primary layer, you need to press the sponge firmly along the wood grain. Such movements should be performed for 2 minutes. No matter how the door is painted, it will be transformed and will be no worse than new. And this is both money saving and a well-groomed interior.
