Tower of London with open-plan apartments

Tower of London:multi-apartment building with a glass facade This time, our attention was drawn to a tower in London, but it is not at all one of those pretentious structures, of which there are many in this metropolis. No, it is not the Shard and not even the mirrored skyscraper Walkie Talkie, ridiculed by all the media. Much has already been said about the crisis in the housing market of the British capital, where towers are built regularly, but only for very wealthy people who do not even bother to live in them. But it was impossible not to talk about the high-rise building that was designed and built by the architects of the Zurich firm E2A, it is so amazing - in the best sense of the word. Each floor is a separate block, the structure is supported by four vertical rod sections that seem to penetrate the building through and through. The architects explain: “Since the supporting sections are adjacent to the facades and, accordingly, communicate with the external environment, the cost of arranging some functional areas was significantly reduced. In particular, the bathrooms are naturally ventilated, and daylight freely penetrates both into the rooms enclosed in the “rods” and into the open-plan interiors. The four vertical sections, by the way, contain the main entrance to the apartments, two separate bathrooms and a kitchen with an adjoining terrace, and so on on each floor. The remaining space is arranged and decorated in accordance with the wishes of the owners.”As you can see, there is nothing outside the support sections.no partitions. The developers continue: "The tower's configuration provides flexibility for its interior. We have proposed a new model for the development of urban real estate, which has a number of environmental and economic advantages over standard options."Before us is a unique embodiment of modernloft, a space that is almost completely open. The model can work on any scale: a building is built with vertical sections designed to accommodate bathrooms and kitchens, and the rest of the space is used by the residents as they see fit. Let's keep it simple! What do you think about this concept?
