Our portal never ceases to amaze itsvisitors with news about unusual solutions in interior design. Today we present to your attention a project by students of the National Higher School of Industrial Creativity Ensci. They proposed an original concept of a kitchen table. Let's start with the fact that it is neutral white. The tabletop can be moved apart on the slider principle to the left and right sides independently of each other. A whole arsenal of kitchen utensils is hidden under it:
- hob and oven;
- washstand with spacious water tanks;
- shelves for dishes and cutlery;
- sockets for connecting household appliances.
But this design idea has its drawbacks.Despite the fact that this is a mini-kitchen, it takes up a significant area. Access to the table must be provided from all sides. This means that, in addition to its dimensions, at least one meter of free space should be provided along the perimeter of the product. In addition, sliding wings will take up additional space. Thus, this design cannot be called a successful interior design idea for a small home. However, its advantages are clearly visible in some other rooms. For example, its use will be justified in the office of a small company, where employees have lunch. And a transforming kitchen will also be an excellent option for a studio apartment.
