The world-famous company IKEA is actively engaged inpositions in the wireless technology market and the development of smart home systems. The presented automated lighting system is one of the brand's first steps. Another new product was presented a little earlier - it was a line of wireless chargers for smartphones, already available in Russia. Now, you can control the lights in your home from these fully charged phones. The new product was named Tradfri, which is translated from Swedish as ‘wireless’. The smart light bulb, controlled from a tablet or smartphone, has already gone on sale in some European countries. From the beginning of April, the geography will be significantly expanded, and the device will appear in Russia by the end of 2017. So far, the price of the new product is about $85 (about five thousand rubles). But the service life is 25 thousand hours! The bulbs and lighting systems operate according to the ZigBee standard, and the central control is contained in a hub controller that connects to the Ethernet network. If desired, you can diversify your system with a lighting level regulator, which also does not require wires and is a device similar to a puck. If you rotate this dimmer, the brightness of the lamps will change. And the smartphone app will allow you to remotely control the lighting.
