Emphasis on national motives and Sovietsymbolism is clearly visible in all the designer's work. Carpets from Denis Simachev were no exception - rather a sensation. Denis Simachev is a famous Russian designer, fashion designer and artist. Winner of many prestigious international awards. For over 15 years he has been running his own company Denis Simachёv, whose mono-brand boutique opened in 2006 in Stoleshnikov Lane. Each of them is individuala work of art, since it has a coat of arms tied to the former Soviet republics. And together, the carpets, like the USSR, form a friendly ensemble, majestic and large-scale. At the same time, the character, life and features of each individual country are conveyed as reliably as possible, which is emphasized by various elements and a unique color scheme. The collection was created by Art de Vivrebased on sketches of shawls by Denis Simachev and is of great interest to collectors and connoisseurs of the Soviet style in the interior, since each carpet is made in a single copy. They are not only an item of interior decoration, but also a nostalgic tribute to our history and the entire era in which we were born. Russia and Ukraine, Lithuania and Estonia, Armenia andAzerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan — the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics proved that friendship between nations is not a utopia, and this idea is reflected in the collection. The principle of equality and respect predetermines the desire for prosperity of the entire world in which our children will live. And the goal of such projects is to remember all the good that once was, and also to show that strength lies only in unity. The presentation took place in the Central Houseartist as part of the XL Russian Antique Salon and attracted a lot of guests - from designers and architects to the social elite and journalists. Each of those who came was pleased with the event, and the impressions from contemplating the carpets will remain in the memory for a long time, since no one has done anything like this before.
