At the end of April, the Rehau office hostedan event dedicated to creating a dream space, which is what a modern kitchen should be. The invited guest was designer Lyubov Malenkina. One of Rehau's specializations is the production of furniture solutions: facades, roller shutters, baseboards, edges, wall panels, countertops and sinks made of artificial stone. However, the company's vast accumulated experience and passion for innovation allowed it to move even further and act as a trendsetter in the field of kitchen material design for the first time in Russia. A press event called "Modern Kitchen Design with Rehau" was organized to introduce the manufacturer's new role. During the event, journalists were also presented with the company's developments and key innovations, which will become available in all the brand's partner stores this summer.
The event began with a performanceExecutive Director of Sales and Marketing of the company in Eastern Europe Andrey Beloedov, who told about the history of the brand and showed Rehau products for kitchen design. Detailed information about them was given by the product manager of the Furniture Solutions direction of Rehau Maxim Zemskov. Particular emphasis was placed on the lightweight glass laminate Crystal, which has high strength (10 times stronger than glass), hygiene and durability in all 8 color decors. They do not need a special tool for cutting, as well as for high-gloss Brilliant facades (gloss level - 90 points, no shagreen effect, 12 decors) or even thinner laminate Crystal Slim.
About trends and tendencies, as well as about experienceThe specially invited Lyubov Malenkina, a designer, founder of the Family Traditions studio and host of the School of Repair program on TNT, spoke about the use of new Rehau materials. According to her, it is the kitchen that sets the style of the entire apartment, and this has been the case since the times of Ancient Rus'. Now the functions have remained the same, although the visual appearance of this room has undergone global changes. In particular, natural shades and island kitchens are in fashion now, which include open shelves and narrow cabinets, so-called floating kitchens with cabinets hanging from the center and mirrored baseboards and, of course, glossy facades. Lyubov herself has already appreciated the advantages of the new products, showing photographs of some of her projects.
Rehau facades are just like this:acrylic and glossy. They go well with a wooden tabletop. The fundamental difference from hundreds of similar ones is that the facade and the edge are connected seamlessly, which gives the effect of a monolithic laconic design and looks very impressive. The edge consists of polymers, this technology was invented by Rehau, which launched it into production. The company also demonstrated sensor cabinets with blinds, which begin the opening process after bringing a palm to the panel.
