The Tvori! Foundation and Folk Crafts Don’t know where to get inspiration for creativity? The Tvori! Foundation for the Support of Young Designers and Architects gathered all interested parties on December 20 to talk about folk crafts, about how traditional elements of lace, painting and carving can be used to create unique modern products. The conversation took place in the form of a round table, with the lively and active participation of those gathered. After all, folk crafts have always been, are and will be an inexhaustible source of ideas for designers. etk-fashion.com became a partner of this event, which took place within the framework of the XVII exhibition-fair of folk and artistic crafts of Russia "Ladya". Our editor-in-chief Oksana Kashenko told how traditional crafts are practically integrated into modern interiors and what manufacturers should focus on. Representatives of the "Gus Crystal Factory named after Maltsov" took part in the conference. They prepared a competition "Diamond Face" for the audience, talked about the rich traditions of crystal production. And these things will fit perfectly into any interior!
2.Conceptual masquerade ball from KONZEPT Festive gatherings in December followed literally one after another. KONZEPT in partnership with two world-famous German companies HÜPPE and Villeroy & Boch organized a stunning party on December 12 — a conceptual New Year's masquerade ball in the restaurant "STARiki Bar". All the "cream" of the architectural and design community were there! Many guests supported the organizers' idea to come to this celebration in masquerade costumes. And yes, they created the atmosphere! There was a lot of creativity, humor and mischief! To maintain the New Year's fun, artists, musicians, painters and magicians were invited, who staged an interactive show "In Search of Santa Claus". There were also raffles and competitions, gifts and congratulations, as well as a lot of creative and friendly communication. And any communication is new ideas, which we are going to tell you about in the future.
3.Manders celebrated its birthday! A birthday on New Year's Eve is like a festive Friday before the upcoming weekend. On December 23, the Manders paint store invited friends and partners to a party in honor of its fifth anniversary. The evening's program was conceived in the format of a grand concert: New Year's hits, a disco, fun until you drop! There were a lot of guests, the room was literally jam-packed, but this did not stop anyone from having fun and relaxing heartily. Everyone also had unexpected meetings, surprises and gifts. A good warm-up before the New Year!

6.ARCHINOVY year in Suprematism The already traditional New Year's , created by the legendary Zaha Hadid. Thus, the guests of the ARCHINOVY year became the first official visitors of this avant-garde building. The dress code of this year was announced in advance: masquerade costumes on a free geometric theme, but necessarily monochrome, a choice of four - white, lilac, green or orange. The guests happily fulfilled the organizers' wish, a good mood was provided to everyone by the performance "Interaction", as well as a fashion show of costumes, a special DJ set and much more. etk-fashion.com installed a photo booth at the event site in advance, and as a result, we collected a whole collection of happy faces!
7.New Year's Design Brunch On December 13, a New Year's design brunch was held in the Winzavod lecture hall. The special guest of the event was decorator Elena Teplitskaya, who gave an excellent master class on New Year's decorations. Under her guidance, the guests learned how to make a Christmas tree not from a Christmas tree: Elena showed how to work with the shape correctly and create something unusual from the simplest materials. Interior designer Stepan Bugayev gave practical advice on interior arrangement and decoration. And then everyone could try to create decorations from familiar means, such as tinsel, candles, glitter, streamers and toys. As a pleasant surprise, the guests were offered to paint fragrant gingerbread with their own hands. With the help of multi-colored glaze and sprinkles, everyone could create a delicious Christmas tree decoration or a completely unique gift for their loved ones. The New Year's Design Brunch is a new format for Moscow to communicate with guests, which managed to perfectly combine business with pleasure: a workshop, an entertainment format and a meeting with designers.
