Foundation "Create!" and handicrafts Not sure where to get inspiration for creativity? Foundation for Support of Young Designers and Architects "Tvori!" On December 20, all interested parties gathered to talk about folk crafts, how traditional lace elements, painting and carving can be used to create unique modern products. The conversation took place in the form of a round table, with lively and active participation of the audience. After all, folk crafts have always been, are and will be an inexhaustible source of ideas for designers. etk-fashion.com became a partner of this event, which took place within the framework of the XVII exhibition-fair of folk and art crafts of Russia "Ladya". Our editor-in-chief Oksana Kashenko told how traditional crafts are practically integrated into modern interiors and what manufacturers need to focus on. The conference was attended by representatives of the Gusevsky Crystal Factory named after Maltsov ". They prepared the Diamond Edge competition for the audience and spoke about the rich traditions of crystal production. But such things will perfectly fit into any interior! 
2.Conceptual masquerade ball from KONZEPT The festive meetings in December followed literally one after the other. KONZEPT, in partnership with two world-renowned German companies HÜPPE and Villeroy & Boch, hosted a stunning party on 12 December - a conceptual New Year's masquerade ball at the STARiki Bar restaurant. All the "cream" of the architectural and design society was there! Many guests supported the idea of the organizers to come to this celebration in fancy dress. And yes, they made the atmosphere! There was a lot of creativity, humor and mischief! To maintain the New Year's fun, artists, musicians, painters and magicians were invited to organize an interactive show “In Search of Santa Claus”. There were also jokes and contests, gifts and congratulations, as well as a lot of creative and friendly communication. And any communication is new ideas, which we are going to tell you about in the future. 
3.Manders celebrated his birthday! A birthday on New Year's Eve is like a holiday Friday before next weekend. On December 23, the Manders paint store invited friends and partners to a party in honor of its 5th anniversary. The program of the evening was conceived in the format of a grandiose concert: New Year's hits, disco, fun until you drop! There were a lot of guests, there was literally no overcrowding in the room, but this did not stop anyone from having fun and relaxing from the heart. All were also expected to meet unexpectedly, surprises and gifts. Nice warm-up before the New Year!

6.ARCHINE YEAR in Suprematism The already traditional New Year, created by the legendary Zaha Hadid. Thus, the guests of the ARCHINUM YEAR became the first official visitors to this avant-garde building. The dress code for this year was announced in advance: fancy dress costumes on a free geometric theme, but always one-color, to choose from four - white, lilac, green or orange. The guests gladly fulfilled the wishes of the organizers, the performance "Interaction", as well as the catwalk of costumes, a special DJ-set and much more, provided everyone with a good mood. etk-fashion.com pre-installed a photo booth at the event site, and as a result we have collected a whole collection of happy faces! 
7.New Year's design brunch On December 13, a New Year's design brunch took place in the Winzavod lecture hall. The special guest of the event was the decorator Elena Teplitskaya, who gave an excellent master class on New Year's decorations. Under her guidance, the guests learned how to make a Christmas tree not from a Christmas tree: Elena showed how to work correctly with a form and create an unusual one from the simplest materials. Interior designer Stepan Bugaev gave practical advice on furnishing and decorating the interior. And then everyone could try to create jewelry from familiar means, such as tinsel, candles, sparkles, streamers and toys. As a pleasant surprise, the guests were invited to paint aromatic gingerbread with their own hands. With the help of multi-colored glaze and sprinkles, everyone could create a delicious Christmas tree decoration or a completely unique gift for their loved ones. New Year's design brunch is a new format for communication with guests for Moscow, in which it was possible to perfectly combine business with pleasure: a workshop, an entertaining format and a meeting with designers.
