The famous Dutch designer Marcel Wanders inIn collaboration with the Portuguese brand, Vista Alegre presented a new collection of unique items at the French exhibition Maison & Objet. What the designer created is one of the parts of a large collection called “Blue Ming”, which Vista Alegre showed at the Maison & Objet exhibition, which recently ended in Paris. The set includes several cups of different sizes, a mug, a saucer, a sugar bowl and a fruit vase. To complete the collection, a candlestick, a flower vase and a lot of different items that match in style and functionality will be added later.
Sculptural elements in each partare symmetrical relative to each other, and the blue graphics emphasize that these decorative items are a mixture of styles from two different countries. Porcelain has absorbed both two hundred years of history and fresh design solutions, which has been transformed into a completely new artistic expression. The designer and the brand have “caught a wave” that is comfortable for both of them - this is the ability to constantly evolve and adapt to changes. Therefore, we will undoubtedly see the results of their collaboration.
