Small room design byInt2architecture Decorating a small room has always been a pressing issue. Many of us have lived and continue to live in cramped apartments divided into tiny spaces. A group of resourceful designers from Int2architecture took on the challenge of decorating a small Moscow living space in a new way. The authors of the project were tasked with creating additional spaces for various needs through the use of non-standard means and elements. They developed a “multifunctional box” that accommodates an amazing number of components, such as a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookcase, shelves, linen drawers, and, finally, a place to relax. This area contains both a sleeping area and a sofa for watching TV. The result of this unification wasincreasing the area of free space. Now the room has room for both a desk and a comfortable chair. The design also includes a chalkboard covering half the wall. Inspirational quotes are written on it in chalk. The laconic and aesthetic design is also emphasized by vintage paintings depicting insects. From many people's point of view, small housingspace is synonymous with discomfort and crampedness. But if the space is designed with talent, as in the case of this Moscow apartment, it can be transformed into a unique place. Any person would not be ashamed to call such an interior their home.
