Apartment interior for a bachelor

Creative studio interior in the Moscow "Khrushchev"

1

We often introduce our readers to overseasarchitectural solutions, so today I would like to present to your attention the project of Russian masters, implemented in the capital of our homeland, Moscow. The work of the design bureau, headed by its executive director Maxim Tikhonov, attracts attention with its compactness. The usual has changed: it has become a stylish studio apartment. It skillfully blends modern décor with 60s culture. Having got rid of unnecessary partitions, old plank floors and plaster on brick walls, this room was able to expand in space and shine in all its glory. The combination of modernity with retro strikes the eye already at the entrance: a large antique mirror on a brick wall kindly invites us to enter the room where there is an antique table with an adjoining designer chair. A small side table takes us back to the same era. The tiny kitchen and the dining table decorated with it in the same style included the minimum of amenities and functionality that a bachelor needs. Cosiness is given to the interior by textiles, paintings, posters and other small trinkets. Replacing the bathroom with a shower cabin allowed us to place in this tiny combined room not only a toilet with a sink, but also a washing machine. Even the balcony of the architects of the M2 Project was not spared, having equipped a seating area with a folding table and chair.
