Interior of a studio apartment

Stunning interior of the apartment-transformer in New York

This tiny apartment has an area of only42 square meters. It would seem that it is possible to come up with something new and unique for such a small space? How to design a room so that it has enough free space for comfortable living and storage of things? The developers found the answers to these questions! The apartment was designed in such a way that it can be divided into several small rooms thanks to specially designed closet doors. Architects Michael Chen and Kari Anderson from Normal Project created an object that can transform and perform the functions of an ordinary apartment for any activity of the owner. We are not sure that you can be surprised by anything else, since progress has already gone very far, but still this design may seem quite interesting to you. Just one large closet serves as a sleeping place, a desk, a section for outerwear and underwear, documents, books and all sorts of small things. On the right side of it is a living area with a sofa, which can also be a single bed. On the other side is a kitchen with all the necessary furniture and appliances. To help you imagine what it's like, we recommend you watch a fascinating video in which young and talented specialists talk about their original project. Don't worry if you don't know English, everything will be clear to you anyway. Enjoy watching!
