Real professionals are usually happy totake on complex tasks. This is exactly the kind of project that designer Maria Makhmudova had to face when she took on a project for a married couple and their baby.It is interesting that she abandoned the traditionalsolutions to such problems using a light color palette. Instead, she decided to use striped wallpaper and a large number of mirror surfaces, which perform the same function of increasing spatial volume. Special furniture - a transformer, which is designed to save space, was also used here.
Customer’s wish is law
Maria's clients were active young people andtheir five-year-old child, who prefer to spend their free time traveling and are the owners of a compact apartment with low ceilings. The main task was to place spacious storage systems for several sets of seasonal clothes, which are a must for central Russia. Naturally, the parents wanted to get a separate children's area, separated from the adult area if necessary. The little person wanted to have his own bed, wardrobe and table for drawing. Particular attention had to be paid to the kitchen, which had to accommodate all the necessary household appliances, a comfortable set and a pull-out sofa for grandparents visiting their grandson.
Remodeling
In some cases, when starting a renovation, you have tocoordinate the changes made with the relevant construction companies, which takes a certain amount of time. Since the owners did not want to deal with paperwork, they had to abandon the original idea of placing a large built-in closet in the hallway.
Cabinets
These essential pieces of furniture have taken their placea place of honor not only in the room, but even on the insulated balcony. Therefore, the customers managed to hide all the things and household items that should not be seen. In contrast to the bright stripes on the walls, their facades do not attract attention and are mostly equipped with mirrored doors. By the way, all the sleeping places in the house were also equipped with storage systems.
Lighting
The main problem was that the glassThe loggia prevents sufficient natural light from getting inside, so the specialists had to work hard to install high-quality built-in lamps, which, moreover, should not significantly reduce the height of the ceiling. In the children's room, they additionally installed a table lamp and a bedside lamp, and in the living room - hidden lighting.
Color spectrum
In this case, the defining moment wasthe tastes of the hostess, who adores the combination of lavender and green colors. First of all, it was used in the kitchen space, and the palette of the rooms was selected so that there was no sharp contrast between the rooms. Striped wallpaper in the area for adults visually raised the low ceiling, and a delicate small pattern on the walls of the room for the little rascal created a relaxed and calm atmosphere there.
Headsets
Some people can't stand it at allfolding sofas, preferring exclusively orthopedic beds. The owners of the apartment were the same. Therefore, all the furniture, including the transforming bed, had to be made to order to create a harmonious and functional space, not cluttered with unnecessary details. All the sets are distinguished by the simplicity of the facades and the laconicism of the forms, so the result was a light, ultra-modern interior, close to the style of minimalism. An interesting solution was the installation of doors of non-standard height, which significantly lightened the hallway area.
Decoration
The use oftranslucent fabrics for window decoration and the creation of a retractable partition separating the children's area from the parents' room. And the kitchen was equipped with Roman blinds of an unobtrusive color and texture.
Stylistics
Ultimately, the designer fully met all the customer’s wishes, which boiled down to style, simplicity, maximum comfort and a wide variety of functional possibilities.
Complex nuances
The obvious complexity of this whole projectpresented the manufacture and installation of a special niche in the bathroom, designed to mask drainpipes, but open access to meters and necessary valves. Too narrow a space did not allow making its dimensions standard, but, to the surprise of the owners, all the necessary accessories for washing fit perfectly on it.
Advice of specialists
1If you don't like pathos, try to surround yourselfthemselves with objects of simple, laconic forms. 2Mirror and glossy surfaces, which reflect the surrounding interior, can visually increase the area of the apartment. 3Textured wallpaper with a vertical or volumetric pattern, as well as photo wallpaper with perspective, have the same ability.
