Interior of a small one-room apartment, located in Mexico City, designed by architects Cadaval & Sola-Morales. Let's appreciate this work. On the lower level of this two-story apartment is the kitchen. All the cabinets are painted black, but the kitchen does not look gloomy at all.
More light Floor-to-ceiling shutters cover large windows decorated with wrought iron bars when needed—they are a must on the ground floor.
Enough space All rooms on the ground floorlevel, including the kitchen and dining room, looks very cute and playful, and at the same time quite elegant. Stylish lamps and modern design elements decorate the interior without taking up much space. Despite the numerous elements in black, the design seems very casual, fresh and airy.
Zoning
Functional areas The upper level accommodatesan open bedroom located behind a partition of bookcases, which offers excellent views of the lower level of the house, as well as a work space.
Small bedroom The bedroom looks very cozy, although compact. There is nothing superfluous here, the low ceilings do not press, but create a feeling of being in a cozy attic.
Uniform style All rooms are designed in the same stylestyle, with comfortable wood-finished floors and brick walls. Some of the brick is red, some white. The designers tried to create a cozy nest here. How do you like this project? Would you like to live in such a charming loft?
