A Scandinavian couple lives inapartment with a small area. The feeling of free space is created by the living room and kitchen, which are an extension of each other, largely due to the same finish. But, at the same time, each room works as a separate territory and is completely independent. Designers everywhere use this technique to increase the space of small-sized homes. The absence of additional partitions plays a large role in this. The apartment where the family lives is located in the center of Stockholm, its area is forty-eight square meters. The biggest drawback of a typical room located on the fifth floor is the lack of sunlight, it is always gloomy here. A lot of white, little furniture and windows without curtains, so the designers solved the problem. Flawless white, pleasant gray - these are the main tones of the hallway and living room. The parquet floor creates a warm accent against the background of cool shades. The apartment consists of one large room of an unusual shape and a bedroom. The living room with a kitchen area was arranged in a non-standard one. Dark-colored furniture was placed along the walls, leaving a gap in which everything needed could be reached with a hand. The large hallway leads to the bedroom. To save space, a white wardrobe was installed in a niche, the bed and table occupy the rest of the space. The Scandinavian style is heterogeneous, elements of industrial design and ethnic decor are interspersed. All items are selected taking into account the individuality of the owners (a cabinet with a concrete tabletop, a carpet, gold candlesticks, composters). A small sofa with soft pillows and a wooden box replacing a table were installed on the loggia.
