Local architectural organization Ark.studio has designed and implemented a project of a luxurious and stylish apartment in the Portuguese city of Lisbon. The small apartment was completed by talented professionals at a high level, and is equipped with unique and stylish furniture. According to the architects: "This project of reconstruction and redevelopment of the interior of an unusual house was intended for private clients. The work carried out by the engineers and decorators of the studio involved a spatial reorganization of the home, and an effort to restructure and modernize the space, in which the choice of wall and ceiling coverings was of particular importance to improve the aesthetic and functional qualities, as well as the artificial lighting of the living room. The design project of the interior reused some pieces of furniture and personal belongings of the client, which were combined with new accessories and objects in order to build a space with a minimal and modern character, as well as with a special authenticity and personality. In this way, the professionals created a personal Universe for the owners, which characterizes the sensitivity of those who live in it, putting as evidence - the experience of a precisely defined taste."
The interior design is attractive andan extremely original style, in which the snow-white color palette dominates as a background, bright colorful accessories and decorative elements that bring a special cheerful mood, a fairy tale of feelings, emotions and positivity to the interior. The apartment is a small two-room apartment with a modest area and an exciting layout. In order to increase its area and volume, designers and specialists used snow-white paint when covering the walls and ceiling, which visually expands the living space and fills it with serenity and tranquility. The room is decorated with designer furniture with a simple and laconic design, as well as contrasting textile cladding, decorated with bright and rich decorative pillows. These elements give the interior a special coziness and incredible warmth, which, combined with impeccable repair, looks simply amazing. Antique interior items and accessories fill the entire living space, bringing positivity and special expression to it. On a small wooden chest of drawers, the designers placed several paintings of different sizes, designed in a contrasting white and gray palette, as well as a brown fan and vintage copper candelabra with snow-white candles. These elements bring a sense of warmth and incredible coziness to the interior, as well as brightness and authenticity.
The floor surface in the apartment was coveredtextured wooden parquet laid in an unusual way, which attracts even more attention and interest to the interior of the home. The space is decorated with a warm, thin gray carpet, on which a simple and laconic sofa with a wooden structure and black upholstery pillows is placed. The window decor with dark brown frames is complemented by a light Roman blind, which allows you to protect the interior from the dazzling sunlight and natural heat on hot weekdays. Bright and colorful paintings and small chairs with different shapes and silhouettes bring special expression and cheerfulness to the living space.
A miniature corner of the guest room decoratesa chest of drawers with open niches, on the shelves of which the owners' extensive library is located, including their most favorite literary works and author's masterpieces collected throughout their lives. Small photographs, fabric antique boxes and a vintage Polaroid complement the designer composition. On the top tabletop there are glass vases with dried flower bouquets and photo frames with contrasting black and white framing.
Bedroom of the owners of an interesting projectThe home is a cozy and serene corner for sleeping, relaxing and spending free time in calm and inviting conditions. In the center of the room stands a large double bed with an interesting headboard and snow-white bed linen. On either side of it, instead of bedside tables, there are stacks of books, on which vintage candelabra rise.
The kitchen area was united by a common layoutwith a dining area, which allows the owners to cook in a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The wall surfaces were decorated with light paint, and the apron area was covered with ceramic light tiles in an unusual and interesting pattern. Above the hob there is a small shelf on which small jars and bottles with spices, seasonings and various kitchen utensils are located, and next to them there are two lamps with small lampshades painted in a milky color. They fill the interior with a soft and muted glow, bringing a special magnetism and sensuality to the atmosphere.
A practical table for four people costssurrounded by elegant wooden chairs painted in a dark brown shade. The designer composition is complemented by a flower vase and a lamp hanging from the ceiling on a thin long cord. A modest window with a Roman blind refreshes the kitchen area and the dining area, softly and casually filling the room with dazzling sunlight and shine.
The dining table is accentuated by a beautiful table setting, an interesting vase with a dried flower bouquet and a painting hanging in a laconic frame on the wall.
The guest lounge and dining area are combinedbetween themselves by a large doorway with double hinged doors, which makes it possible to increase the area of the apartment and fill it with special charm and magnetism.
Creative furniture in the form of a light shelving unit withwith several snow-white open shelves filled with books, magazines and necessary items, attracts close attention due to its laconic and functional form. The surface of the set is complemented by candles in transparent containers, various accessories and paintings.
Antiques and various decorative itemsThe elements that fill the decor of this modest minimalist apartment constitute its main spirit and conceptual essence, reflecting the character and views of the owners of the home.
The bathroom is a continuation of the stylecharming apartment. It is decorated in a snow-white color palette, and its layout is complemented by unusual objects and accessories - a backlit mirror in a wooden frame, creative shelves, baskets with small things and cosmetics.
