Brooklin Apartment completed in 2012year, designed by Kwartet Arquitetura studio. This creation is located in São Paulo, Brazil. It is a small modern apartment: the family wanted to keep three bedrooms. The living room is really tight, but it should be comfortable and practical for everyone. These were the main problems of the renovation. Since the living space is very narrow, there was a difficulty with the arrangement of furniture. The installation of a double-sided sofa created two different spaces for comfortable seating.“The young couple are planning to have children. For this reason, the decision was made to renovate 95 square meters of housing in São Paulo. Due to budget constraints, a more efficient use of the available space was envisaged. They wanted a design for the subject environment that would be flexible and clean.Because the hall and the kitchen are reallysmall, they were combined, creating a larger environment. The doors to the terrace were dismantled, and new windows were installed on the facade of the building. Thus, adding an additional area to the recreation area. Light gray tiles cover the entire floor surface, with the exception of the former open area, where the freijó wooden flooring warms up the environment. Neutral grayish tones were also applied to the walls to visually unite the zones.Oak bookcase, bar, barbecue harmoniouslyfit into the decorator's extension. The black dining table and the lacquered TV stand are designed as a single unit, thus making optimal use of the space. The white kitchen unit and polished inky granite provide a pleasant play of contrasts. The modern washbasin is designed in a satin finish, and the mirrors make the toilet appear much wider than it actually is.The modular sofa with beige upholstery isthe central piece of furniture, very flexible in its use. The layout is flexible: modest, wooden benches and a table can be placed wherever it suits. The coffee table and seating for the dining area are also made of wood, and turquoise chairs add a touch of color. Off-white curtains provide privacy and protection from the sun. Artwork on the walls adds personality to the interior.
