Salone del Mobile visited the Design Week in Miami

This is an international exhibition of furniture and design objects, which this spring will open its doors to visitors for the 55th time. In order to increase brand recognition and announce the upcoming event, the Milan furniture salon took part in Design Week, which was held on the east coast of the USA. Roberto Snidero and Giovanni De Ponti VThe exhibition featured 46 Italian companies, many of which offered unique and inimitable design delights, independent of fashion trends, but made with soul and respect for long-standing traditions. Starting with the Red Skyline installation at the Perez Art Museum and continuing in the showrooms of the Design District, the exhibition showcased the best examples of companies and high-end design objects. This perfect route, sparkling with bright red tones, gave the best idea of the upcoming Italian exhibition, which will be held in Milan from 12 to 17 April. At the same time, we were able to ask a few questionsquestions to Roberto Snidero, President of Saloni WorldWide, which he kindly agreed to answer. However, we asked our questions not about the Miami fair, but about the fair that took place in Moscow in the fall. A shirt closer to the body, we thought, and interviewing the president of such a large and well-known fair is a great success. — What can you say about this year’s fair? — Despite the uncertain political and economic situation in the country, the trend is positive if we assess the quality of supply and demand. This year, the fair was visited by 37,779 visitors and journalists. For the first time in its history, members of the Russian government took part in the World Fair, including Alexander Morozov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. — Are you planning to increase the number of foreign participants for next year’s Russian Fair? — The number of participants is not set by us. But we are open to representatives who want to take part and will be glad to see everyone. — What do you consider your greatest achievement as the fair's president this year? - To welcome the Minister of Trade and Industry, Denis Valentinovich Manturov. And besides that, there was a strong response from the 335 participating companies, which was proof of their absolute confidence in the event. They see it as an opportunity to break into new markets that are becoming increasingly interested in quality design solutions.
