Head of the architectural studio IND Architectswill speak at the REX 2017 exhibition with a detailed story about the renovation of retail facilities and the practice of reconceptualization. The general director of the architectural studio IND Architects, architect Amir Idiatulin, will talk about the practice of reconceptualization and renovation of retail facilities using the studio’s current projects as an example. The architect will share his experience of transforming an outdated city market into a modern eco-market together with the developer of this facility, the Yumit group.
IND Architects have succeededto reformat the market that does not meet the requirements of the time into a modern market "Farm". The authors of the project provided for not only a trade function in the renovated facility, but also returned the city market to its original role - a place for communication and socialization of residents. The architects created the conditions for turning the abandoned facility into a popular public space: the architects changed the exterior and internal organization of the market, and improved the adjacent territory. The presentation will take place on April 26 at 15:00 at the conference "Innovations in the Reconception and Redevelopment of Shopping Malls" at the REX 2017 exhibition at the Expocentre Fairgrounds (Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, 14, Pavilion 7, Hall No. 2).
