Apartment interior for a bachelor

Stylish interior of a one-room apartment for a bachelor

For visitors to our portal we have preparedan unusually fascinating story about one unique idea of the talented master Nastya Muravyova. Her client was an unmarried man who appreciates minimalist style in design. In some of the sketches of the bathroom, you can see two variations that the master developed for him. Specialist Anastasia Muravyova graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov and the Higher School of Design at the Moscow Architectural Institute, as a result of which she was awarded an MBA degree at the University of Bristol. At the present time, she is engaged in the design and implementation of the decoration of private housing and country cottages, and also has experience in design work in the field of decorating public institutions. In addition, she is interested in fine art and photography, is engaged in contemporary creativity and all her professional and creative ideas end in success.Participated in art history presentations(Central House of Artists, VKHUTEMAS passage and 73rd Street), where she showed her creations. She sees her purpose in the field of professional activity in the embodiment of a rational, fashionable and comfortable space that takes into account the preferences and desires of the client, as well as his financial capabilities. She can work in all popular styles, without imitating other examples, but bringing delightful uniqueness and special charm to any of her conceptual ideas.

Customer and wishes

The client of this project is a man.He prefers a simplified and calm design direction and a cool color palette. He was well informed and carefully prepared for the project, and during the first meeting and conversation with the designer, he presented images of the desired decor. He spoke in detail about his requirements (clear outlines, aphoristic decor, natural building materials) and technical aspects that, in his opinion, need to be paid close attention to. The project is implemented in the style of minimalism, as well as in a calm color palette. During the design, the goal was set - to separate the living area and the kitchen space, but not to use the classic method, namely a solid partition. As a result, a delightful configuration of columns and airy glass railings was created, which provided the necessary separation and maintaining spectacular lighting.

Remodeling

The apartment had a rational arrangement of rooms, but at the same time it was necessary to design functional zoning.

Illumination and coloring

It was decided to purchase lamps of the trade brandFabbiani and Lucente, because their appearance is innovative and sophisticated. Among the collection there are unusual examples: in the living room - a lamp "Beluga" on extravagant consoles, above the dining area - a hanging lamp "Amak", which consists of three lampshades. The color palette was initially presented by the client - azure, turquoise and gray. Many will like such a cold and indifferent range, but such wishes are rarely expressed: many people in most cases choose a cheerful sunny color scheme. In order for the interior to look exquisite, the designer tried to avoid too saturated and colorful colors and maintain the entire apartment in a serene calm palette.

Furnishings

If the project implementation time allows,It is better to order the furniture according to individual sizes and drawings, since when buying from the samples available in the store, sometimes you have to make concessions. This is how this interior was brought to life, the author used furniture from the brands Eicholtz, Calligaris, a kitchen from Haecker, cabinets and shelves Benedetti.

Accessories and textile fabrics

In the atrium of the main space compositionhousing – painting by Artem Diatyan Icons. To complement it, the designer selected a rug from the famous Jan Kat from the Artworks collection with philosophical sketches in a similar turquoise shade that dominates the image. They seem to exist in the world to merge together in this apartment!

Possible difficulties

The design development wasn't that hard,on the contrary, attractive and entertaining. The area of the house allowed to place all the most necessary things and at the same time not to overload it. This is important when developing the implemented stylistic direction. The customer approved basically all the proposed ideas, but the selection of the design option for the bathroom turned out to be quite burdensome, as a result, two variations were proposed. It was necessary to work on the spatial layout as well. The place of separation of the kitchen area from the living area was designated by the location of the window opening and the supporting wall. The customer did not want to connect the two areas together, and the architect was against the classic option - a solid partition. Therefore, it was proposed to use two fences made of opaque glass panels. A plasterboard partition was designed between them. From the kitchen area side, a countertop is attached to it, in which niches are mounted, and from the living room side, a TV display and an electric fireplace are located on it. In order for the layout to be correct and rational, the existing half-meter wide column was also planned to be covered with plasterboard sheathing.

Timing

The design of the sketches and drawing plans was completed in one month, with about seven days spent coordinating all aspects and details. The implementation of the idea into reality will take a quarter.

Tips for resource readers

Try to create an impression of opennesslayouts even in modest-sized housing. Do not overload it with furniture, use built-in wardrobes and dressing rooms. Use the vertical volume: plan the highest cabinets and other structures. The cladding should be simple, but solid. With such a calm and moderate interior, all the inaccuracies of the decoration and poor building materials will look flashy and obvious to the eyes of guests. The decoration in the style of minimalism should not be monotonous and uninteresting. If you have chosen a moderate color scheme, organize bright and colorful accents, play with the texture of the material. In some areas, use a variety of wall cladding methods, create different levels of the illumination system.
