Interior of a studio apartment

Design of a two-story studio apartment in the style of minimalism

The masters of the ZHA company developed the projectapartment with two floors and high ceilings, which is located in Poland. Our portal is ready to tell you about this original and magnificent design today.the height was not enough for two floorsrooms. Therefore, the designers had a rather difficult task, but they managed to cope with it. The solution was found by itself. It was decided from two levels, on the second one they placed a bed. A ladder was attached to it, on which you can fit at full height due to the fact that it is located below the bed.The lower level contains a cooking area, a guest room, spacious closets and a bathroom, and the upper level contains a bedroom. The bed and steps are made of OSB boards. The use of this material gives the interior an interesting and modern look. And its low cost allowed to reduce the overall repair costs. The ladder was placed along the wall. This allowed the freed space to be used for other purposes. Under the steps, cabinets and shelves for books or clothes are conveniently located. A regular organza curtain serves as a fence. On the second level the fence is completelyis missing. The designers thought that it would make the bedroom darker and stand out against the light living room. To create the effect of fencing, books were used, which were placed along the edge. The choice of color scheme for finishing not only the walls but also the ceiling turned out to be successful. For Northern Europe, gray and white colors are the most relevant in the interior. To change the proportions of the room, designersplaced spherical black and white lighting fixtures on long cables and lowered them a little lower than usual. This made the ceilings visually not very high, which added coziness and comfort. To create the overall concept, the bar counter is made of the same material as the stairs. The black chairs harmonize perfectly with the light walls. The designers used another interesting technique. They decided to paint the wall opposite the windows black. This allowed them to significantly dilute the white background of the interior.
