Philip was born in 1975 in one of the mostresorts of the Côte d'Azur - in Nice. He went to Lyon (in Arts Appliques) to study applied art, and then to Paris. However, French conservatism scared off the young graduate of the École Boulle department of object design, and in 1999 he left for Milan, where he works to this day, creating quite original and, what is especially pleasing, functional furniture.
According to the author, he does not disdain his own works. And in his house, in addition to old items that have migrated from antique shops, you can see prototypes with the label "Philip Nigro".
